Reporting sick leave
Depending on the desired configuration, several users can declare sick leave :
- The employee directly via his absence declaration interface ;
- The manager who does it on behalf of his team members ;
- The human resources department, which records stoppages for all employees.
Declaring sick leave is as easy as a few clicks using the form below :

The Human Resources department may decide that sick leave can only be recorded by a member of the HR department. In this case, the employee will not be able to make the declaration, but will be able to follow the progress of the sick leave.
Sick leave validation
As with all types of absence, you have the option of passing the sick leave request through a validation workflow that can comprise up to 5 stages. At each stage, the designated staff can validate the request, reject it or simply be informed via an email notification.
Mon Intranet goes even further, allowing you to have a specific workflow for sick leave. In this way, you can add an extra step, for example, so that the HR department is specifically informed of the absence. This really simplifies sick leave tracking.
The impact of sick leave on vacation entitlement
Mon Intranet incorporates a comprehensive algorithm that takes into account the impact of sick leave on the acquisition of paid leave and RTT. So you have 3 types of sick leave to manage all situations :
- Sick leave covered: no suspension of paid leave ;
- sick leave partially covered: partial acquisition of paid leave according to a configurable percentage ;
- unpaid sick leave: total suspension of paid leave.
This granularity enables you to meet legal obligations. For instance, My Intranet HRIS complies with French local law, which allows employees to acquire 80% of their paid leave entitlement during a period of sick leave.
Absence schedule
Work stoppages are included in the global schedule, which indicates the days of presence and absence of each employee in the structure. To respect the confidentiality of illness, you can hide the type of absence. This makes it impossible to distinguish a work stoppage from another type of absence in the schedule.
Work stoppage reports
My Intranet HRIS lets you export a complete list of absences, including sick leave. This enables you to quickly view all absences taken over a given period.
To facilitate data analysis, My Intranet HRIS also includes statistical graphs showing the number of stoppages per month, and the number of people who have taken at least one stoppage per month.
Export to payroll
My Intranet HRIS software has gateways to many payroll programs on the market. In just a few clicks, you can export all sick leave data to your favorite payroll software. If your software is not yet supported by My Intranet HRIS, we can develop a gateway for you, provided your payroll software has an import format.
